Project exportsAs the contract's payment terms say

FEMA (Export and Import of Goods and Services) Regulations, 2026, as amended on 22 September 2026, in force from 1 October 2026. For earlier exports the period depended on the date: 9 months up to 13 November 2025, 15 months from 14 November 2025, and 9 months again from 5 June 2026. If proceeds are still unrealised more than a year after the due date (including any extension), further exports are allowed only against full advance payment or an irrevocable letter of credit. Your AD bank can extend a period if you apply, with reasons, before it runs out. Rules last checked 16 October 2026: confirm with your AD bank before you act. Read the full guide.
