New FEMA export rules from 1 October 2026: realise export proceeds within 9 months

RBI's FEMA (Export and Import of Goods and Services) Regulations, 2026 took effect on 1 October 2026. Export proceeds must be realised within 9 months: from shipment for goods, from the invoice for services, or 12 months if invoiced or settled in rupees.
