Drawback cut for gold and silver jewellery exports (Notification 85:2026-Customs N.T.)

CBIC has lowered the All Industry Rates of duty drawback for gold jewellery (711301) by about 3% and for silver jewellery and silver articles (711302, 711401) by about 9%, by a notification dated 15 October 2026. Jewellery exporters should re-price and re-check expected drawback on new shipments.

CBIC's Notification No. 85/2026-Customs (N.T.), dated 15 October 2026 (G.S.R. 891(E)), amends the drawback schedule in Notification No. 77/2023-Customs (N.T.). It reverses part of the increase made in July 2026 (Notification No. 64/2026-Customs (N.T.), 16 July 2026).
