A narrow PTA: MERCOSUR gives Indian goods tariff preferences on 452 tariff lines and India gives MERCOSUR 450. On 14 September 2026 the two sides launched talks to expand the PTA and signed a protocol allowing electronic certificates of origin, which takes effect once both sides complete internal procedures.
